BLOW ME AWAY AT THE DIRTY RIVER DANCE!
The weather played havoc with the Democratic booth at the Dirty River Dance sponsored by the Rivers Coalition on Sunday Feb. 26, but our efforts did not go unnoticed. A storm force cold front blew the vendors' tents down, but thanks to the help of several kind gentlemen, including Commissioner Lee Weberman, the tent and materials were saved from total destruction. Once our table was moved under the 'big tent', our volunteers were able to attract the attention of folks that braved the windy, cold afternoon. We gave out lots of information regarding the MC Democratic Club, Democratic Women's Club of MC, and upcoming South County Rally, and encouraged everyone to keep in touch with us and VOTE DEMOCRATIC in the upcoming elections!!!
